Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you see the fate of both the wise and the foolish, and that their wealth will be left to others. I claim this promise for myself and my loved ones, that we may not put our trust in earthly possessions but in you alone. Help us to seek wisdom and understanding, and to use our resources to further your kingdom. May we leave a legacy of faith and generosity for future generations. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
