Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in your word. I acknowledge that we did not get the land in possession by our own strength or power, but it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face that favored us. I pray that you continue to favor us and guide us in all that we do. Help us to trust in your strength and not our own, knowing that you are the one who saves us. Thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword,neither did their own arm save them; but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable to them.
Psalms 44:3
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the Israelites did not obtain the land through their own strength, but rather through God’s favor and assistance.
