Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart that has not turned back from your ways. I declare that my steps have not strayed from your path, and I am committed to following you all the days of my life. I claim the promise that you will guide me and lead me in the right direction, and I trust that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that I can always rely on you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the speaker has remained faithful to God and has not strayed from His path.
