Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you will bring me up out of any horrible pit or miry clay that I may find myself in. I claim this promise today and ask that you set my feet on a rock and give me a firm place to stand. Help me to trust in you and your unfailing love, knowing that you are always with me and will never leave me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always being my rock and my salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.
