Prayer based on Psalms 38:3. Themes: Sin, Consequences, Redemption.
Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy heart, acknowledging that there is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, and there is no health in my bones because of my sin. But I claim the promise that you have given us in your word, that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So I confess my sins to you today, and I ask for your forgiveness and your healing touch. Please restore soundness to my flesh and health to my bones, and help me to walk in your ways and live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and your mercy, and for the promise of your healing power. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.
