Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given me in your word. As I reflect on my life and the blessings that you have bestowed upon me, I confess that I have said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.” But I know that my security and stability come from you alone. I claim the promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me, and that you will be my rock and my fortress. Help me to trust in you completely, even in times of prosperity, and to always remember that my hope and my strength come from you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
