Dear Yahweh, I come before you with a humble heart and a voice full of cries. Please hear my plea and have mercy on me. I pray that you will answer me and guide me through the challenges I am facing. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.
Verse: Hear, Yahweh, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to “hear” Yahweh when the speaker cries out for mercy and an answer.
