Praying from Psalms 18:31. Themes: God’s sovereignty, God as a rock
Dear Yahweh, my God and my rock, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and praise. You alone are God, and there is no one like you. You are the one who created the heavens and the earth, and you sustain all things by your power.
I claim the promise that you are my rock, and I trust in you completely. You are my refuge and my strength, and I know that I can always find safety and security in you. When I am weak, you are strong, and you lift me up on wings like eagles.
Thank you for being my God, my rock, and my salvation. I pray that you would continue to guide me and lead me in your ways, and that I would always trust in you and rely on your strength. May your name be praised forever and ever. Amen.
Verse: For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God,
Psalms 18:31
This is a Promise. The verse is declaring that there is no other God besides Yahweh and that He is a rock. It is a statement of truth and assurance for believers.
