Prayer based on Psalms 145:8. Themes: Grace, Mercy, Patience
Dear Yahweh,
I come before you today claiming the promise that you are gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness. Thank you for your unending love and compassion towards me.
I ask that you continue to pour out your grace and mercy upon me, and help me to extend that same grace and mercy to those around me. Please help me to be slow to anger and quick to forgive, just as you are.
Thank you for your great loving kindness that never fails. May I always be reminded of your goodness and faithfulness, and may I live my life in a way that brings glory to your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Yahweh is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness.
Psalms 145:8
This is a Promise. The verse is a description of Yahweh’s character, emphasizing his graciousness, mercy, patience, and love. It is not a command to the reader, but rather a statement of assurance that Yahweh is a loving and compassionate God.
