Dear God, I come to you in great fear, but I know that you are with me. Your word promises that you are in the generation of the righteous, and I claim that promise today. I trust in your righteousness and your protection over my life. Help me to walk in your ways and to live a life that honors you. Thank you for your presence with me always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
Psalms 14:5

This is a Promise. The verse reassures the reader that God is with the righteous and therefore they need not fear.
