Dear Lord, protect me from those who have sharpened their tongues like a serpent. May I not fall victim to the viper’s poison that is under their lips. Grant me the wisdom and discernment to recognize their deceitful ways and shield me from their harmful words. Help me to respond with love and grace, even in the face of their attacks. Amen.
