Prayer based on Psalms 11:1. Themes: Refuge, Trust, Deliverance.
Dear Yahweh,
I take refuge in you, my rock and my fortress. When others try to tell me to flee like a bird to the mountains, I know that I can trust in your protection and your promises. You are my shield and my stronghold, and I know that I can find safety and security in your loving arms.
Thank you for being my refuge and my strength. Help me to always remember that I can turn to you in times of trouble and find the peace and comfort that I need. May your promises be my guide and your love be my anchor, now and always.
In your holy name I pray,
Amen.
Verse: In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”?
Psalms 11:1
This is a Promise. The verse is a declaration of the psalmist’s trust in Yahweh as his refuge, despite the advice of others to flee.
