Father God, I come before you today claiming the promise that those who love cursing will have it come upon them, and those who delight in blessing will receive it abundantly. I declare that I choose to delight in blessing and to speak life-giving words over myself and others. I ask that you would help me to guard my tongue and to use it only for good. May your blessings be far from those who choose to speak negativity and may your favor rest upon those who choose to speak life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse describes the consequences of a person’s actions, specifically that if they love cursing and don’t delight in blessing, those negative things will come to them.
