Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you will regard our distress and hear our cry. I claim this promise today and ask that you would hear my cry and the cries of those around me who are in need. Please show us your mercy and grace, and provide us with the comfort and strength we need to face our challenges. Thank you for always being there for us, even in our darkest moments. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
