Prayer based on Psalms 105:6. Themes: Chosen, Offspring, Servant

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today as one of the offspring of Abraham, your servant, and a child of Jacob, your chosen one. I claim the promise that you have made to your people throughout the ages, that you will bless us and keep us, that you will make your face shine upon us and be gracious to us, that you will lift up your countenance upon us and give us peace.

I thank you for choosing me to be a part of your family, for calling me by name and setting me apart for your purposes. I pray that you would continue to guide me and lead me in the way that I should go, that I may walk in your truth and follow your commands.

I ask that you would bless me and my family, that you would provide for our needs and protect us from harm. I pray that you would give us wisdom and discernment, that we may make wise choices and live according to your will.

Thank you for your faithfulness and your love, for your mercy and your grace. May we always be mindful of your goodness and your kindness, and may we never forget the promises that you have made to us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
