Dear God, please open our ears to hear the groans of those who are imprisoned and suffering. Give us the courage and strength to work towards their freedom and release from the chains of injustice. Help us to be a voice for those who are condemned to death, and to fight for their right to life and dignity. May we never turn a blind eye to the suffering of others, but instead, be moved to action and compassion. Amen.
