Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I pray that you will help me to always speak words of kindness and love towards those around me. Please give me the strength to resist the temptation to gossip or speak ill of others. I also claim the promise that you won’t tolerate one who is arrogant and conceited. Help me to remain humble and always give credit to you for any successes in my life. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I won’t tolerate one who is arrogant and conceited.
Psalms 101:5
