Prayer based on Proverbs 9:17. Themes: Temptation, Sin, Pleasure

Dear God,

Please help me resist the temptation of seeking pleasure in things that are not rightfully mine. Help me to find joy in the blessings that you have given me and to be content with what I have. May I always remember that true satisfaction comes from living a life of integrity and honesty.

Amen.

Verse: “Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant.”
Proverbs 9:17
