Dear God, please help me to keep my father’s commandments and not to forsake my mother’s teachings. Give me the strength and wisdom to follow their guidance and to honor them as they have honored me. May I always be obedient to their words and may their teachings guide me in all that I do. Amen.

Verse: My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching.
Proverbs 6:20
