Prayer based on Proverbs 4:8. Themes: Wisdom, Honor, Respect

Dear God, I pray that I may always hold wisdom in high esteem. May I never take it for granted or overlook its value. Help me to embrace wisdom and seek it out in all areas of my life. I know that when I honor wisdom, it will exalt me and bring me to a place of honor. May I always be willing to learn and grow in wisdom, and may it guide me in all my decisions and actions. Amen.

Verse: Esteem her, and she will exalt you. She will bring you to honor when you embrace her.
Proverbs 4:8

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to esteem wisdom, and promises that doing so will result in exaltation and honor.
