Dear God, please help me to remember to not strive with a man without cause. Help me to resist the urge to retaliate or seek revenge when someone has not done me any harm. Give me the wisdom to discern when it is necessary to confront someone and when it is better to let things go. Help me to be a peacemaker and to show love and kindness to those who may not deserve it. Amen.

Verse: Don’t strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.
Proverbs 3:30

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to argue or fight with someone without a valid reason, especially if they have not caused any harm.
