Prayer based on Proverbs 22:29. Themes: Work, Skill, Service

Dear Lord, I pray that you would grant me the skill and expertise to excel in my work. May I be diligent and committed to honing my craft, so that I may serve with excellence and distinction. As I strive to be skilled in my work, I claim the promise that you have given – that I will serve kings and not obscure men. May this promise be fulfilled in my life, and may I use my talents and abilities to bring glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men.
Proverbs 22:29

This is a Promise. The verse suggests that if someone is skilled in their work, they will have the opportunity to serve kings rather than obscure men.
