Dear Yahweh, thank you for being the maker of all people, both rich and poor. I claim the promise that we all have in common, that you are the creator and sustainer of our lives. Help me to remember this truth and treat all people with the love and respect they deserve as your children. Amen.

Proverbs 22:2
