Dear Lord, please help me to overcome my laziness and procrastination. May I not be like the sluggard who buries his hand in the dish and refuses to bring it to his mouth. Give me the strength and motivation to take action and fulfill my responsibilities. Help me to be diligent and productive in all that I do, and may I glorify you through my hard work and perseverance. Amen.

Verse: The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
Proverbs 19:24

This is a Command. The verse is a warning against laziness and a call to action to not be like the sluggard who refuses to even feed himself.
