Dear God, please help me to resist the temptation to gossip and speak ill of others. May my words be uplifting and encouraging, bringing life and joy to those around me. Help me to remember that the words of a gossip are like dainty morsels that can easily penetrate deep into a person’s heart and cause harm. Instead, may my words be like healing balm that brings comfort and peace. Thank you for your guidance and wisdom in this matter. Amen.
