Prayer based on Proverbs 15:10. Themes: Discipline, Reproof, Consequences

Dear God, please help me to stay on the right path and not stray from your ways. Give me the strength to accept discipline when I need it and to be open to correction and reproof. Help me to understand that these things are for my own good and that by rejecting them, I am only hurting myself. Please guide me and keep me on the path that leads to life. Amen.

Verse: There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way. Whoever hates reproof shall die.
Proverbs 15:10

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to accept reproof and not forsake the way, or else face stern discipline and death.
