Dear Lord, I pray that I may always walk in uprightness and fear you. Help me to resist the temptation to be perverse in my ways and to despise you. May my heart be filled with reverence and awe for you, and may I always seek to honor and glorify your name. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the gift of salvation through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Verse: He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh, but he who is perverse in his ways despises him.
Proverbs 14:2
