Prayer based on Proverbs 13:24. Themes: Discipline, Love, Parenting

Dear God, please help me to be a loving and responsible parent. Help me to understand that sparing the rod is not the same as showing love to my child. Give me the wisdom and strength to discipline my child when necessary, so that they may grow up to be responsible and respectful adults. Help me to always act out of love and not out of anger or frustration. Thank you for the gift of my child, and for the opportunity to guide them towards a bright future. Amen.

Verse: One who spares the rod hates his son,but one who loves him is careful to discipline him.
Proverbs 13:24
