Prayer based on Proverbs 13:12. Themes: Hope, Longing, Fulfillment
Dear God, I come to you with a heart that has been sickened by deferred hope. I have been waiting and longing for so long, and it feels like my heart can’t take it anymore. But I know that you are a God of promises, and you have promised that when my longing is fulfilled, it will be like a tree of life. So I claim that promise today, Lord. I trust that you will fulfill my longing in your perfect timing, and that when it happens, it will bring life and joy to my heart. Thank you for being a faithful God who keeps his promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
