Dear Lord, I claim the promise that those who choose to follow their own ways and schemes will eat of the fruit of their own way and be filled with their own schemes. I pray that I may always seek your will and follow your ways, so that I may not fall into the trap of relying on my own understanding. Help me to trust in you and your plans for my life, knowing that you have good things in store for me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that those who seek you will find you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
