Dear God, please help me to remember that it is better to be humble and have a servant than to seek honor and lack bread. Help me to be content with what I have and to not be consumed by the desire for recognition or status. May I always be grateful for the blessings you have given me and use them to serve others. Amen.

Verse: Better is he who is little known, and has a servant, than he who honors himself and lacks bread.
Proverbs 12:9
