Prayer based on Proverbs 12:20. Themes: Deceit, Evil, Peace

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that joy comes to the promoters of peace. I pray that you would help me to always choose the path of peace and to promote it in all areas of my life. I ask that you would guard my heart against deceit and the temptation to plot evil. Instead, fill me with your love and wisdom so that I may be a promoter of peace and bring joy to those around me. Thank you for your promise and for your constant presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace.
Proverbs 12:20
