Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in Luke 19:43-44. I know that there will be days when my enemies will try to throw up a barricade against me, surround me, and hem me in on every side. But I trust in your unfailing love and your promise to be with me always. I pray that you will give me the strength and courage to face any obstacle that comes my way. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you and to trust in your plan for my life. Thank you for your promise of protection and for your constant presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
