Prayer based on Proverbs 12:18. Themes: Wisdom, Healing, Speech

Dear Lord, please help me to control my tongue and not speak rashly like the piercing of a sword. Instead, may my words be wise and healing to those around me. Give me the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Help me to use my words to build up and encourage others, rather than tearing them down. Thank you for the power of words and the ability to use them for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword,but the tongue of the wise heals.
Proverbs 12:18
