Prayer based on Proverbs 11:16. Themes: Grace, Honor, Violence
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in Proverbs 11:16 that says, “A gracious woman obtains honor, but violent men obtain riches.” I pray that you would help me to be a gracious woman, one who is kind, compassionate, and full of love. May I always seek to honor you in all that I do, and may my actions and words reflect your grace and mercy.
I also pray that you would protect me from the ways of violent men, those who seek to gain riches through force and aggression. Help me to resist the temptation to pursue wealth at any cost, and instead, trust in your provision and guidance.
Thank you for your promise of honor for those who are gracious, and I pray that you would help me to live a life that brings glory and honor to your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
