Dear Lord, please help me to speak with a righteous mouth that produces wisdom. May my words be a source of encouragement, guidance, and truth to those around me. Help me to resist the temptation to speak perversely and to use my tongue for good. I pray that you would cut off any perverse tendencies within me and help me to always speak in a way that honors you. Thank you for the gift of speech, and may I use it to bring glory to your name. Amen.

Verse: The mouth of the righteous produces wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut off.
Proverbs 10:31
