Praying from Matthew 5:12 relating to Persecution, Reward, Joy
Dear Lord, I rejoice and am exceedingly glad, for I know that my reward in heaven is great. I claim the promise that you have given me, and I trust that you will fulfill it. I pray that you will help me to endure any persecution that may come my way, just as the prophets before me did. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the assurance that my future is secure in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 5:12
