Prayer based on Matthew 26:29. Themes: Hope, Kingdom, Fellowship.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for the promise that Jesus made to his disciples, that he will not drink of the fruit of the vine until he drinks it anew with us in your Kingdom. I claim this promise today and look forward to the day when we will all be reunited with Jesus in your Kingdom.
I pray that you will help me to live my life in a way that is pleasing to you, so that I may be counted worthy to be a part of that glorious day. Help me to be faithful and obedient to your will, and to always keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the author and finisher of my faith.
Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promise of eternal life with you. I pray all these things in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
Verse: But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”

This is a Promise. Jesus promises that he will not drink wine again until he drinks it with his followers in his Father’s Kingdom.
