Dear Lord, I thank you for calling me to be a part of your kingdom. I know that many are called, but only a few are chosen. I claim the promise that you have chosen me to be a part of your chosen few. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to always follow your will. I trust in your plan for my life and I know that you will guide me every step of the way. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for choosing me to be a part of your family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement that not everyone who is called will be chosen. It is a warning that not everyone who hears the gospel will respond to it and be saved.
