Praying from Matthew 2:2 relating to Messiah, Worship, Prophecy
Dear Lord,
I come before you today claiming the promise of your birth as the King of the Jews. Just as the wise men saw your star in the east and came to worship you, I too come to worship you and give you all the honor and glory that you deserve.
I thank you for the promise of your birth, for the hope and salvation that it brings to all who believe in you. May I always remember the significance of your birth and the sacrifice that you made for me on the cross.
Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, one that reflects your love and grace to those around me. May I always seek to worship you with all my heart, soul, and mind.
Thank you for the promise of your birth, and for the hope that it brings to all who believe in you. I pray this in your holy name, Amen.
Verse: “Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”
Matthew 2:2
This is a Promise. The verse describes the Magi’s statement about seeing the star of the King of the Jews and their intention to worship him.
