Dear God, I pray that you help me honor my father and mother, and show them the respect and love they deserve. Help me to be patient and understanding with them, and to always be grateful for all they have done for me. I also pray that you help me love my neighbor as myself, and to treat others with kindness and compassion. May I always be a shining example of your love and grace in the world. Amen.
