Dear Lord Jesus, we thank you for your love and compassion towards children. We pray that you would allow the little children to come to you and experience your grace and mercy. Help us to never forbid them from coming to you, but instead, encourage and guide them towards your Kingdom. May we learn from their innocence and trust in you like they do. We pray that the Kingdom of Heaven would belong to ones like these, and that we would all have childlike faith in you. In your precious name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: But Jesus said,“Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to allow little children to come to Jesus and not forbid them, as the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like them.
