Dear Lord, I claim the promise in your word that if you find me, you will rejoice over me more than over the ninety-nine who have not gone astray. I pray that you will search for me and bring me back to your loving arms. May I never stray from your path again, but always follow you with all my heart. Thank you for your unfailing love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.

This is a Promise. The verse is a promise that the person who finds the lost sheep will rejoice more over it than over the other sheep that did not go astray.
