Dear Lord,

Thank you for being the Good Shepherd who cares for each and every one of us. Just as a shepherd would leave the ninety-nine to search for the one lost sheep, I pray that you would never give up on me when I stray from your path. Help me to always follow your lead and stay close to you. May I never forget that you are always seeking me out, even when I am lost. Thank you for your unfailing love and grace. Amen.

Verse: “What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
