Praying from Matthew 10:24 relating to Humility, Servanthood, Obedience.

Dear Lord, help me to remember that as your disciple, I am not above you, my teacher. May I always seek to learn from you and follow your example. And as your servant, I am not above you, my Lord. May I always serve you with humility and obedience. Thank you for being my teacher and my Lord. Amen.

Verse: “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.
Matthew 10:24

This is a Command. The verse is instructing the reader to recognize their position in relation to their teacher or lord and not to consider themselves above them.
