Dear Lord, as I embark on my journey, I pray that I may trust in your provision and take no bag, coat, sandals, or staff. Help me to remember that as a laborer in your kingdom, I am worthy of my food. May I rely on your grace and mercy to sustain me and guide me on my path. Thank you for your constant care and love. Amen.

Verse: Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.
Matthew 10:10

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to not bring any extra items on their journey and to rely on the provision of others, as the laborer is worthy of being provided for.
