Dear Lord, I claim the promise that the earth bears fruit by itself. I trust in your timing and process, knowing that first comes the blade, then the ear, and finally the full grain in the ear. I pray that you would help me to be patient and faithful as I wait for the fruit of my labor to come to fruition. May I trust in your provision and guidance, knowing that you are always working for my good. Thank you for your promise and for your constant care. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is describing the natural process of growth and development in plants, and is not giving a command to the reader.
