Prayer based on Mark 1:44. Themes: Obedience, Healing, Testimony.
Dear Lord, help me to follow your instructions just as you instructed the man who was healed. May I have the wisdom to keep quiet when necessary and to obey your commands. Help me to show myself to the world as a testimony of your love and power. May I always offer to you the things that you have commanded, and may my life be a living testimony to those around me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: and said to him,“See that you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”

This is a Command. The man who was healed of leprosy was commanded to not tell anyone, but to go show himself to the priest and offer the required sacrifice for his cleansing as a testimony to them.
