Prayer based on Luke 7:15. Themes: Resurrection, Compassion, Miracle

Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have the power to bring the dead back to life. Just as you raised the young man from the dead and gave him back to his mother, I pray that you will bring new life to the areas of my life that feel dead and hopeless. Speak to me, Lord, and give me the strength to rise up and live fully in your love and grace. Thank you for your promise of resurrection and new beginnings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: He who was dead sat up and began to speak. Then he gave him to his mother.
Luke 7:15

This is a Promise. The verse describes the miraculous resurrection of a dead man and the subsequent reunion with his mother. There is no command given to the reader.
