Dear Lord, as I come before you today, I claim the promise that when you see me, you will have compassion on me. Just as you had compassion on the woman who was weeping, I pray that you will have compassion on me and wipe away my tears. Lord, I trust in your love and mercy, and I know that you will never leave me nor forsake me. So, I pray that you will speak to me today and say, “Don’t cry.” Thank you for your unfailing love and for always being there for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her,“Don’t cry.”
